Back To Sicily
The family are sitting around a campfire in the New York bush. Salvatore gives a rousing speech about the traits of loyalty and respect. David, interested in Salvatore’s upbringing asks about Salvatore’s time before New York. The other 2 brothers also want to hear, so Salvatore decides to tell the story. Salvatore was born in 1875 in a small regional town run by the mafia, his mother a prostitute and his father a small time enforcer. However, his father would end up messing up an assignment leading to the mafia boss killing him right in front of a 7 year old Salvatore. Salvatore’s mother was so destitute she would leave town, leaving Salvatore all alone. The mafia boss would end up taking in Salvatore, manipulating him into believing his father and mother left him alone to go to the mainland. However, when he was 18, Salvatore’s mother returned and revealed the truth, infuriating Salvatore to the point he wiped out the mafia boss’s whole squad, then executed him.

A Plan Worthy of Spectacle
The family are running out of money, and fast. With no bar, Salvatore comes up with an idea to rob the Albany Regional Bank. The family scope it out, and decide to become acquainted with security guard Thomas C. Abraham, who agrees to help them for a cut of the deal. The group head to the bank at midnight. Meanwhile in NYC, Caffrey and Buchanan meet with their supervisor, Cliff S. McDaniels, who is furious at their handling of the case. He pulls their funding, leaving the two to look for alternative sources for funding. They find the Manhattan Bank, and scope it out. They decide to get hats just like the ones the Rinaldo’s wear to make it look like the rinaldo’s robbed the bank.

A Bad Day to Be A Banker
The episode is split between two perspectives: First, the Rinaldi’s robbing the Albany bank, successfully stacking up to $200k dollars. The gang manage to fight through the Albany Police department and escape to the house in the hills. The three brothers want to use it to buy new clothes and maybe a house out of state, but Salvatore uses half of it to bet on a race horse that breaks down. Meanwhile, the FBI agents dress up like the Rinaldi’s, practice their accents and rob the Manhattan Bank. They successfully get away with $350k dollars. Three days later, the Rinaldi’s are implicated in the Albany Bank robbery. The FBI agents meet with McDaniels and are permitted to use the newly found funds in their investigation.

Nostalgic Nights
David, Marco and Giuseppe reminisce about the good old days, the thriving saloon, the successful weapons deal and the fully functional family. Meanwhile, Salvatore heads to the race track and meets the trainer of the race horse. In the stables, he brutally kills the trainer, then leaves. The FBI agents learn of his failed bet, which happened before they robbed the Manhattan bank. Thanks to them using the Italian accents and copying Rinaldo’s look, they manage to convince McDaniels that the Rinaldo’s robbed the Albany bank, gambled their money away on a race horse, lost the money and decided to rob the Manhattan Bank in an impulse action to recover the lost money, thus shifting any heat off them.

Follow The Yellow Brick Road
The FBI agents continue to hunt down Salvatore and the brothers. McDaniels assists and believes they may be coupled up north. Meanwhile, the brothers witness Salvatore coming back from killing the trainer and decide to let all of their emotions out; every time he berated them, treated them like an afterthought or put them in danger because he only cares about himself. Horrified, Salvatore takes the $100k dollars left from the bank robbery and leaves, planning to go to neighbouring Pennsylvania. David, Marco and Giuseppe, broken, poor and hungry, swear a bond, a bond to get revenge on their father.

The Long Pour (1)
The three brothers pack all their things (not a lot) and pursue their father over the border. A border agent reveals they’d seen someone looking like Salvatore, and the three brothers cross the border 40 minutes apart. Caffrey and Buchanan chase them. At a small town in Pennsylvania, Salvatore stops, looking at a middle aged man on the road who looks like him. Planning to kill him and steal his identity, he engages in small talk, where he learns the man has just gotten a promotion, and is going home to share the good news with his 5 kids. Salvatore is blinded by a flashback to him spending time with his 5 kids. Caffrey and Buchanan catch up to the three brothers and run them off the road. The three brothers reveal they’ve had a falling out with their father. Caffrey and Buchanan agree to work with them to take down Salvatore. The 5 are tipped off that an Italian man was seen at a gas station just up the road. The 5 drive up the road, only to get their car run off the road by Salvatore.

The Long Pour (2)
Salvatore hold the men at gunpoint. Caffrey and Buchanan goad him into pulling the trigger, while Marco, David and Giuseppe try to talk sense into him. They finally get to him by saying Franco wouldn’t approve of what he’s doing. Realising the errors of his ways, he agrees to be turned in, however Giuseppe persuades him to keep fighting the FBI. Encouraged, he attempts to shoot Buchanan but mortally wounds Giuseppe instead. In response, Caffrey mortally wounds Salvatore. The two bleed out to death, opposite each other, as David and Marco watch in horror. Caffrey and Buchanan thank the men for their obedience and leave. The funeral for the two men is held, and Lenny visits them, revealing Marla is pregnant. David and Marco then say they have unfinished business and contact Caffrey and Buchanan. The agents show up with handcuffs, but David and Marco shoot them, ending the agents and freeing themselves. The two swear a blood bond to rebuild the Rinaldo family, then go their seperate ways
