Episode 1
At the Gronty housing estate, the militia finds bodies of a young prostitute and a local communist activist. Journalist Witold Wanycz doesn't believe in the official version of events. He seeks the truth with the help of twentysomething years old Piotr.
Episode 2
Piotr starts his own investigation. He believes the murder is "something more" than the militia and prosecutor's office try to make the public believe. His journey through the dark part of the town begins.
Episode 3
The trace leads Piotr to the local butcher. Maybe he's behind the murder? At the same time, Witold Wanycz becomes more interested in the suicide of two teenagers. He's got his personal reasons for it.
Episode 4
Piotr points to the butcher as the murderer. He feels that the town is veiled with a mystery from the past. The journalist no longer knows what's true or false. Wanycz discovers the tragic truth about the children's death.
Episode 5
Piotr tracks the alleged killer. Wanycz learns the truth about the teenagers’ death. Both tragedies are connected. Everything is related to the past.
