The show bring to life the stories of unsung heroes who sacrificed and fought for India over 450 years of freedom struggle but remain unheard and unknown to this day despite their untold sacrifices.

Alluri Sitaram Raju

Alluri Sitaram Raju was an Indian revolutionary, known as Devudu in the villages of Andhra Pradesh. He was one of the prominent figures who opposed the Madras Forest Act formed by the British.He motivated the villagers to fight against the British and seize all the guns and weapons from them.The Britishers struggled for a long time to capture him, but he was captured and shot to death.

Pushplata & Kanaklata

Pushpalata & Kanaklata were Indian revolutionaries who fought for freedom of country and followed Mahatma Gandhi's ideologies. Their motive was to free villages & communities, hoist Indian flag on police stations like Dhekiajuli, Gohpur etc. They formed group of revolutionaries to complete the mission but many were shot dead by Police. Kanaklata was one of them, while Pushpalata was arrested.

Mahaveer Singh

Mahavir Singh was an Indian revolutionary who fought for Indian Independence by joining the HSRA which involved greats like Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh, Rajguru, Sukhdev and many more. He was involved in the killing of the British officer Saunders. He was sent to Andaman Nicobar Islands for kalapani. He went on hunger strike along with other revolutionaries and died in the Cellular Jail.

Durga Bhabhi

Durgawati Devi, also known as Durga Bhabhi was an Indian revolutionary and a freedom fighter. She was one of the few women revolutionaries who fought against the British for India's freedom. She was the wife of Bhagvati Vohra and eventually she started working alongside him and HSRA members under the lights of Chandrashekhar Azad, Bhagat Singh and many more.

Chandrashekhar Azad

Chandrashekhar Azad was an Indian revolutionary known for his leadership and fierce personality to fight against British. He was one of the prominent figures in the Indian Independence movement. Azad was one of the members involved in the Kakori conspiracy. He shot himself while fighting the British as he did not want to die with the hands of the British.

Ramprasad Bismill

Ram Prasad "Bismil" was an Indian revolutionary and a poet who played a major role in the Kakori conspiracy. He was one of the prominent members of the HSRA group who fought against the British alongside the greats like Bhagat Singh, Chandrashekhar Azad, Rajguru, Sukhdev and many more. Ram Prasad brought the poem "Sarfaroshi ki tamanna..." into fame.

Rajguru Sukhdev

Rajguru and Sukhdev were Indian revolutionaries who were the members of the HSRA group. They both worked with Bhagat Singh to fight the British.They are known for the killing of John Saunders as revenge for ordering a lathi charge on Lala Lajpat Rai during the Simon Commission protest, which eventually led to his death. Rajguru, Sukhdev and Bhagat Singh were hanged on 23rd March, 1931.

Sachindranath Saniyal

Sachindranath Saniyal an Indian revolutionary and co-founder of the HSRA, was known for his leadership and fierce personality in fighting against British. He was jailed for his involvement in the Kakori conspiracy and was imprisoned at Cellular Jail, where he wrote his book Bandi Jeevan.He contracted tuberculosis in jail and was sent to Gorakhpur Jail for his final months. He died on Feb 7, 1942.

Sardar Udham Singh

Udham Singh an Indian revolutionary was one of the few survivors of the Jallianwala Bagh massacre in 1919. General Dyer commanded an open fire on the people protesting in Jallianwala Bagh. Udham Singh's life motive had become to kill General Dyer and the one who approved the command, Michael O'Dwyer. Although General Dyer was already dead but he killed Michael O'Dwyer in Caxton Hall, London.

Udham Singh

Bhai Parmanand was an Indian nationalist and one of the prominent leaders of the Hindu Mahasabha. He spent his life with the goal of making the society free from poverty and from the rule of the British. Parmanand visited South Africa and stayed with Mahatma Gandhi as a Vedic missionary. His influence was also spread on the great revolutionaries like Bhagat Singh and Sukhdev.
