It feels like it’s been years since Tiger King became the thing everyone was talking about at the beginning of the pandemic lockdown. But it was less than six months ago; everyone who wanted to see it, though, has probably seen it. So where to go for your crazy, twisty true crime fix? Showtime might have the answer with Love Fraud.

The Gist: Love Fraud, produced and directed by Heidi Ewing and Rachel Grady, is a four-part docuseries about how the victims of a polygamist con artist named Richard Scott Smith got together and hired a bounty hunter to track him down after they found out that they were merely one of many victims of the same con he’s pulled on women over the past two decades.
